Facilities Summer Report

by Matt Connolly, nation and world editor

This summer, while students were all over the world, facilities was back here on campus working diligently on multiple projects.

Of course, you will soon see the beautiful walkway we have between the new Chapman Center and Crowell Hall. The Chapman Center, which will be the long-awaited new home to Moody Publishers and Moody Radio, has been completed.

As you may have noticed, your dorm is cleaner than when you left it, even though your RA probably put you through the ringer; and all carpets have been cleaned.

For all you gym rats out there, you will be pleased to know that Solheim is now equipped with a high efficiency heater, giving you warm showers all through the winter.

In addition to gaining a whole lot of sisters, Dryer has a brand-new lawn, sure to be a nice place for picnics before the winter freeze.

Music majors will be happy to know that Doane’s elevator is in the process of being improved, hopefully making it a little faster for everyone.
