Moody partners with AVA Recycling to host an E-Recycling drive on campus

by Katie Skero news editor

As part of “America Recycles Day,” Moody will sponsor an electronics recycling drive for students on Nov. 13th and 14th. For this event, Moody is collaborating with AVA Recycling, a family-owned Christian business that focuses on sound environmental stewardship. During the E-Recycling drive, students are encouraged to bring unwanted electronic devices such as computers, cell phones, old monitors, and printers to the collection bins located in Culby and Houghton.

AVA will dispatch vehicles to Moody campus Nov. 15 to reclaim the items for proper disposal. This will present an opportunity for students to discard these items at no cost to them in a responsible manner, thus keeping them out of landfill and reducing year-end e-junk quantities.
