The Moody women’s cross country team finished the 2015 season as the NCCAA DII national champions for a third consecutive year.  Four of the Lady Archers placed in the top ten nationally, including a first place finish by junior Katie Morris and a fourth place finish by senior Samara Wasson.

Morris wins her second consecutive individual national title with a 19:11.3 time, a full 19 seconds ahead of the second place finisher. Wasson improved from a sixth place finish last year to take fourth, trimming 28 seconds off her time and posting a sub-20-minute score. Since the women’s cross country program’s inception in 2012, the Lady Archers have won three of the four NCCAA Division II team national titles, and have taken home medalist honors three times as well.
